I love to ...oh my word this brought back a memory. I love to read cook books. One year, as we were driving to my in-laws for a visit, I was reading a new cookbook I had purchased. I got to a recipe on cows tongue and just exclaimed over and over to my husband just how GROSS that was. "look you can see the taste buds..ugh!!" Well, we got to my MILs late and as we were relaxing before bed, my FIL said "Sara, would you mind tomorrow putting dinner in the oven before I get home from work. it is all ready" I excitedly said YES because he is a fabulous cook and I looked forward to his meals and then said "what is it?" And he replied "cows tongue".

I started laughing!!! I thought my husband had set me up because of our discussion in the car. But I quickly realized by looking at his confused and a bit hurt face that he WAS NOT KIDDING!! it was about all I could do to choke it down the next day.

So funny now!!!sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16558961544260341038noreply@blogger.com
