My Thoughts About The Book: The Christmas Quilt is the eleventh book in the Quilt of Love series. I have not read any of Vannetta Chapman's other books and had no trouble with the characters in this one. It was excellent. I chose to review this book because it was about a Christmas Quilt and I have a quilt my grandmother gave to me one Christmas when I was young. This particular Christmas book focuses more on family than on horses and man work. This book is very family oriented. I think my favorite part of the book is the plot centered around a baby's birth and what better story could that be in an Amish, or any Christian based Christmas story? This book is a delight for fans of Amish life, bakers, and quilting fans. As a baker I am delighted when recipes are included in the back of the book. I have actually made several and loved them all.
Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book from Litfuse Publicity Group as part of their blogging review program in exchange for an honest review.
