Recently I did a review one of Cindy Woodsmall's books called The Christmas Singing. I have to be totally honest and tell you that I loved that book and have shared my copy with several friends already who also loved it. I want everyone to read this enjoyable Amish tale. If you would like to find out more about the book them click here and see a trailer for it. You won't be disappointed because it is a wonderful feel good Christmas book. It is a great story of love, faith, security, heartache and restoration. If you are like me and a reader then you can click here and check out a preview of the first chapter of the book. Warning! It will hook you I can promise you. I wrote my review back in November so if you'd like to see what I really thought about the book you can head over to my blog and check it out. While you are there leave me a comment and let me know you stopped in. P.S. Waterbrook Multnomah has given me the chance to offer a 30% off deal and free shipping on The Christmas Singing (and any other title) when my readers use the promo code CHRISTMAS11 at the check out on their website at WaterBrookMultnomah.com. I am a woman who wears many hats and loves them all. I am a singer - I sing with the group Still Magnolias. I was part of the original First United Methodist Church Arbor Praise Team until we moved. After 24+ years of teaching English 11 and Spanish I - II at Benjamin Russell High School I decided to take a job closer to home. I now teach Spanish I & 2 at Randolph Co. High School and Wadley. I thought I was getting close to retirement and looking forward to it, but decided to move my cheese and try something different. I am a preacher's wife and a preacher myself. My husband Frank is the pastor at Rock Mills United Methodist Church and I am the pastor at Midway (Wedowee). It has made our conversations interesting, to say the least.
