My Thoughts On The Book: I am not a huge fan of anthologies, a drawback from college days. Yet, I am glad to have chosen this beautiful collection. The Alaska Brides Collection is so much
more than just a bunch of historical romances. I have always wanted to go to Alaska and these stories just fueled the fire even more with their educational enlightenment of
Alaska. I was hooked from the dog sleds to health outbreaks, the restriction of women at the
time to how people handled the summer midnight sun. Every story made me wish I had lived there in the 1800's. As it always goes with anthologies sometimes you will have a winner, sometimes you will have a solid good read, and other times you will read the last chapter and call it a day. This anthology is no different. I loved a couple, liked a couple and read the last chapter of one after trying to plod through it. All in all I got a taste of several writers. I liked a few and will avoid a few. I would give this book a 3.5. You will definitely find a winner in at least one.
