Tie A Yellow Ribbon

It is official and she is coming home.  Today is the day Avery Kruze will be arriving in Rock Mills.  Last night was  Kruze's last night as a nicu/ccn baby! She had a great day! Magen and Keaton  had several visitors from upstairs.... I can assure you that Miss Kruze will be missed by her nurse mommies! And Magen and Keaton are definitely going to miss them too! They have become such a huge part of their family.  Magen and Keaton have been blessed during their tenure at UAB and I know they are so thankful for the relationships they made being there.

There is going to be a good bit of excitement today.  There is a motorcycle ride (fundraiser) that kicks off at 1:30ish.  There are approx. 300 bikes participating in this (so you might want to be off 431 from Roanoke to I-20 during that time).
They are meeting Keaton, Magen, and Kruze at the Interstate and escorting them home.  How exciting is this.  The bike ride was scheduled before we knew they were coming home and the timing could not have been better.  Prayers for Kash and Kruze McCarley facebook page has almost 6,000 likes from all over the world.  It has been amazing to see all the outpouring of love from people everywhere.  My friend Deb has a ministry for parents who have lost a child/baby and she sent a beautiful handkerchief from http://wwwforyourtears.blogspot.com/.  The family was so touched.  They have also received many donations from people all across the country.  It has been amazing.  Both of the babies have really touched the lives of so many.  Not everyone gets to see a miracle happen in their lives, but I have.  Today a child who was given a 0 chance of survival will come home.  Last night Magen and Keaton came home to get Keaton's dad's truck and I watched the two of them interact with the family.  We all met for dinner at Tres Hermanos and as I looked into Magen's face I saw such great emotion.  She is so excited to have her little family all under one roof again.  Of course the coming home is bittersweet because Kash won't be with them physically, we all know she is with them in spirit.  Magen is a great little momma and I cannot wait to see that little family blossom.  They have been through so much since Sept 28th when this saga began.  I am awed at their faith and strength.  They are an amazing couple with an amazing support system.  Today, when you say your prayers please remember them.  A new chapter of their lives begins today and I personally am praying/rooting for them.  Go Team McCarley!
