1. Besides Thanksgiving, something you're looking forward to on your November calendar?
Veteran's Day. I love remembering the men who have defended this great country so I can enjoy the freedoms I have.

2. If I gave you a thank you card right now who would you send it to and why?
All the people who contributed to my Moldova food drive for Kat and Brian. We had a lot of food donated and it made me feel so very humble when I hosted Christmas on Halloween. Kat and Brian leave soon so 45+ people came to my house for the celebration on Saturday. We got over 300 pairs of socks...there is food and supplies in the bags, boxes, under the tables, and already loaded in their car.

3. Of the breads listed, which one's your favorite...bagel, cinnamon, sourdough, garlic, banana, biscuit, pita, Naan, or plain old fashioned white bread?
Oh dear. I don't like the stick to the roof of your mouth plain old fashioned white bread so that's an easy one to take off the list. Probably my favorites would be cinnamon , banana, garlic, and bagels.

4. What's something you have in abundance? Is that a good thing?
I am with Joyce....Rain. I'm not going to complainmuch, but holy cow we've had a lot of rain. Buckets and buckets. Cats and dogs. Round up the animals two by two. I think you get the idea.

5. November 5th is National Love Your Red Hair Day. Are there any redheads in your family? Who's your favorite redhead? Daughter, Kat, the missionary, bottom right, and grandson, Austen, top right. I come from a long line of red-heads including myself.
6. The travel website Busbud recently calculated the most Instagrammed spot in every state. Go here to see what made the list where you live. Are you happy with your state's #1? If not what do you think should be the most photographed spot in your state? Have you snapped a photo there? If you live outside the USA answer as it relates to your state city or province. My state had Lake Martin and I actually lived there for several years. It is a gorgeous place. One of my favorite spots on Lake Martin would be Children's Harbor.
7. I'm going to try to have something related to gratitude in this spot each week during the month of November. Here's this week's question-What's something you've learned about yourself this year that you're grateful for? I am grateful for my missionary daughter and son-in-law. I can exist with her in Moldova.
8. Insert your own random thought here. Ham or Turkey at Thanksgiving and Christmas? Stuffing or Dressing? Which do you prefer? We had both on Saturday.

Visiting through This Side of the Pond...it looks like you had a great party! That's a lot of socks.
Turkey for Thanksgiving and Ham or Rib Roast for Christmas. We usually have turkey Christmas Eve and ham on Christmas Day. I make dressing, but am not opposed to stuffing. We're spending Thanksgiving away from home and my daughter's boyfriend has already told me his mom makes stuffing. I told him I'm good with that. There are not many bread products I am not good with : )
That looks like a beautiful spot. Sounds like you had a busy but successful time last weekend.
Turkey and stuffing with lots of gravy! That's wonderful that your daughter is a missionary. Enjoy that special time with her.
great answers.
Such a sweet answer for #1 remembering our Veterans. We haven't had rain for a long time but I hear it is on its way with El Nino this year. That lake looks lovely. We never to ham. Always turkey at Thanksgiving. We now do pizza at Christmas so I can have a fun relaxing day and Easter would be Prime Rib. Looks like you had a lovely visit with your daughter and son in law.
