My Thoughts On The Book:  I have loved Cedar Key forever and that is what made me want to read Carol Post's books.  Her characters are lifelike and make you feel as if you know them.  This is a great mystery-romance and a good beach read.  Post is quiet a wordsmith and once you start one of her books you just can't put it down.  I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good Who Dunnit with a bit of romance thrown in for good measure.  I can't wait to read another one of her books.

My Thoughts On The Book: I was a  a  huge fan of Lingerfelt's first book, The Mason Jar, I could not wait to get this book for review.   As an Irish Alabamian the location and subject were near and dear.  In Lingerfelt’s novel is such a surprise for romance readers.  I am not a huge journal entry reading fan.  I write in a journal, but am not fond of reading others. ...but I was captivated immediately.  I fell in love with the story’s hero, Brian,  as a high schooler.  As a teacher of high schoolers I was drawn to his lack of drive in school....but these are the students I am always drawn too.  As I read on I so wanted Brian to succeed.  Uncle Mike was my hero when he encouraged young Brian to begin journaling. I remember well my first journaling experience.  From the first Brian does you can see him come to life.  I felt as if I knew each one of these characters personally.  They sprang to life on the page and I love it when an author can master that.  This was an awesome read and I encourage anyone who loves  a good "coming of age" story, a good romance, and great character development to read this.  I promise you will not regret it.  Thank you so much Mr. Lingerfelt for giving me this opportunity.

My Thoughts On The Book:  What a lovely book to read before school starts back.  It was an awesome beach read on that last hurrah vacation.  I loved it.   The beginning of the book had me in stitches.  It was so much fun to read.  I actually found myself laughing out loud at times.   The book is a sweet and tender read. I loved the hermit author character portrayal of Stephanie Pink, with a dog and interesting male thrown in for good measure.  This is a light, easy reading can't miss, must read, kind of book.  Loved!  Loved!  Loved!

My Thoughts On The Book:  I was attracted to the book by the little dachshund on the front cover.  I honestly thought the book was going to be about animal training and was delighted when it wasn't.   This book was so much fun to read.  I found myself laughing out loud with many of Tippy's antics.  Mentink does a great job in the character development area. Each character seems to come right off the page and I felt as if I knew each one personally.  This was a fun and easy read.  I loved the book!  I think this book would be a great feel good movie!  I would pay to see this!!

My Thoughts On The Book:  Robin Lee Hatcher has become one of my most favorite authors and she has done it again with this sweet final story of the Kings Meadow Romance Series. Keeper of the Stars was such a touching love story that dealt with grief and loss.  I don't want to spoil the story for the reader.  I will say that Robin Hatcher is a Queen wordsmith when it comes to writing a sweet, wholesome, and beautiful love story that is romantic but not sickeningly sappy.  I love the faith elements that are present and I love how she portrays the grace of God.  I cannot wait to get my hands on her next book.  This is a must read.

My Thoughts On The Book:  I cannot tell you when I have loved a book more than this one.   The dual plots were captivating and once I became drawn into the story lines of the characters involved I was hooked.  The story starts during WWII and carries on to the present.  It is a beautifully written story of what lies, deceit, and spite can do to a family.  It is one of those stories that finds you crying one minute and the next moment you are laughing out loud kind of stories.  This is a definite read.  I loved every aspect of the story.  This book was a definite 5 out of 5.  I can't wait for the next Rachel Hauck book to hit the shelves.  I hope it is soon.

My Thoughts On The Book:  This book would have been about my family.  We had huge Christmas's like this every year until my mother's generation all passed away.  This was a tender story and made me wish for that kind of Christmas memory once again.  Ruchti did a wonderful job of building her characters and making them real, flaws and all.  I loved being part of this family, even if was just for a little while.  Once I began reading I did not want anyone disturbing me.  My only problem with this book was that I was not ready for it to end.  It was my first Christmas read of the season and I am so ready to celebrate like the Binder's now.

My Thoughts On The Book:  This is  my first book in this series and I didn't find it a problem not having read the other books.  I cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of the series! This is not the kind of romance book I would normally read.  But, it was one that drew the reader right into the story line.  Emily Marsh is a word master and knows how to handle her plot and characters.  One minute I was a reader and the next minute I was a character.  I laughed, I cried, I worried, I fell in love with the stars of the book.  I am delighted to have had the opportunity to read and review this book.  AWESOME!

My Thoughts On The Book:  Loved it!  I laughed, I cried, I got angry, I enjoyed.  I could not put it down from the moment I picked it up.  It was wonderful.  Every minute of reading the book I felt as if I was in New York on the Great American Dog Hunt.  The book if rich with two love stories and written by someone who obviously is a dog lover.  New York comes to life with each word printed on the page and Hulsman's characters are vivid and life-like.  This is the feel good book of the year!  This was my first book by Lynn Marie Hulsman and I have to say I cannot wait to read more.  If you are a dog lover this is the book for you.

My Thoughts On The Book:  I was supposed to have this post done on Friday.  I had read the book so it was not like I had to do that.  Life happened somewhere between Thursday and today.  I was so excited about reviewing this book because it was amazing.  If you love the writing style of Jan Karon you will adore this book.  The Splendor of Ordinary Days is the third book in the Watervalley series and the first one I have read.  Even though the book is a continuation of characters it can stand alone.  High's introduction of the book definitely covers anything you should have known in the previous books.  Jeff High is a spellbinding storyteller.  I did not want to put the book down because I was afraid the Watervalley spell would be broken and I would lose my new friends.  This book has it all:  mystery, romance, small town living, Mennonites, ghosts, legends, traditions, and history....LOVED IT!  I am definitely going to get the first two and read them.

My Thoughts On The Book: Good Earl Gone Bad is the second book in the Lords of Anarchy series and it's the story of Jasper and Hermione. Collins does a good job of reviewing the characters for those who have not read the first book in the series.  I haven't read A Good Rake is Hard to Find  and felt I was running behind when I first started this book, but I caught up quickly thanks to Ms. Collin's expert writing.  When I requested this title from NetGalley I had no idea that this is a follow up of another book, I just liked the book cover and was intrigued. liked the connection with the two main characters and was glad they didn't immediately fall in love/lust. The book is good, but not great.  This was my first Collin's read, I read fast, but this book was easy for me to put down. I hope the next book is a bit more intense.

My Thoughts On The Book:  I have not had time to read a good romance and I was delighted to be given the chance to read and review this one.  It did not disappoint.  This was one of the best romanes I have ever read.  All of the key elements of a romance were there with the damsel, the danger, and the characters reactions toward each other.  It was a 5 star romance for sure and a great beach read.

My Thoughts On The Book:  I have followed these families throughout the whole series and my only disappointment with this book is that the book ended too soon.  It is quick read, around 100 pages and can be easily read in one sitting.  I am delighted to have found Colleen Coble's books, she is a master at developing a story and plot.  The reader is drawn into the action before they even realize they are participants too.  I cannot wait to read her next book/series.  What an amazing writer!

My Thoughts On The Book:  This was a feel good chick lit book.  I enjoyed reading it. Melissa McClone's characters are simply and straight forward.  It is a sweet piece of forgiveness, love, trust.  I knew from the moment Jenna opened her door to Ash where the story was going but the path to forgiveness was enjoyable.

My Thoughts On The Book:  I love visiting the lowcountry in South Carolina, whether it is in person or within the pages of a good book. I like reading Karen White and think she is an amazingly talented author.  The book was long, so it could not be read in one sitting,  but it did not disappoint. I loved the two main characters and their stories.  This is a good summer read and great for the beach!

My Thoughts On The Book:  It is a beautiful story by an exceptional writer.  I think this is my favorite Rachel Hauck story to date.  From the outside cover to the inside story this is a book you cannot put down once you pick it up and start reading.  The characters are human and well developed.  These characters feel like your next door neighbor....if you are royalty.  GREAT STORY and a must read!

My Thoughts On The Book:  I loved the concept of making something that was devastated into a thing of beauty.  The book was filled with beauty.  The symbolism in the book was profound.  I hated that I had not read the first book in the series because it took me a while to figure out who Kat and Lucas were and what impact they had on the new characters, Stella and Chase.  I found the book a bit repetitive and lost interest occasionally but overall this book was good and solid.  I would love to read the next book now that I have figured out some of the ins and outs of the characters.

My Thoughts On The Book: I have never read anything by Valerie Bowman, but I will read her again.  She is amazing. She is the kind of author that draws you into the book before you realize what has happened.  The romance in the story was  sweet. The characters were life like.  From start to finish I could not put it down and cannot wait for another.  Great read, Great author!
