One of my former students and her husband had a baby way to early this week. Little Parker put in his appearance weighing in at 1 pound 8 ounces. Is he not precious? The thing is....he needs lots and lots of prayers so I am asking my blogging buddies to please add him to your prayer lists. His big sisters are dying for him to get home to them and right now....that will be a while. Mom and Dad are hanging in there....as are the grands...My granddaughter, Hannah Ruth weighed in at 15 ounces when she was born and today she s a glowing and beautiful 13 year old. I know that God answers prayers and am asking for many of them today. I appreciate it greatly. God is good all the time....and all the time God is good. AMEN! So...little Parker....you just sit back and let God and your prayer warriors do their stuff.
I am a woman who wears many hats and loves them all. I am a singer - I sing with the group Still Magnolias. I was part of the original First United Methodist Church Arbor Praise Team until we moved. After 24+ years of teaching English 11 and Spanish I - II at Benjamin Russell High School I decided to take a job closer to home. I now teach Spanish I & 2 at Randolph Co. High School and Wadley. I thought I was getting close to retirement and looking forward to it, but decided to move my cheese and try something different. I am a preacher's wife and a preacher myself. My husband Frank is the pastor at Rock Mills United Methodist Church and I am the pastor at Midway (Wedowee). It has made our conversations interesting, to say the least.
