My Thoughts On The Book:  This was a truly refreshing and wonderful Christian romance. The book is a combination of lifelike characters, intermingled with a touch of faith, a drop or two of romance and some mystery that drew me into the story and kept me there until the end.  I am a huge fan of Murphy, NC and many of the places Jami took Grant to I have seen which made the book that much more lifelike to me.  It was a touching book about how people can overcome their pasts and learn to grow and move on.  I LOVED this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to read a good, clean, Christian romance.  I know I cannot wait until the next one comes out.

My Thoughts On The Book:  One of my former students got a service dog this summer.  She is a brittle type 1 diabetic and this dog was obtained to give her the freedom to go to college.  Emma (the dog) senses when my students blood sugar spikes either way.  It has been amazing to watch what this awesome dog can do.  That is why I asked to review this book.  It touched home.  The beginning of the book tells the history of the service dog and that was very interesting. The book itself gives you a dozen stories that are heart wrenching and uplifting at the same time as you read about some amazing animals whose whole purpose is service. If you are a dog lover this book is a must read.  If you are not a dog person this book is still something you will want to sit down with.  I promise you that you will get a better understanding of service dogs. I loved this book.  It is definitely a keeper.

My Thoughts On The Book:  I took my book on a beach vacation.  I wanted something to read while sitting under an umbrella listening to the surf.  I almost put the book down because the story started out a bit slow but then when I least expected it the sweet little romance became a thriller and the pace picked up and I could not put it down.  The honest truth was I didn't want to put it down! I was quickly drawn into the idyllic small town life in the South.  The reader finds themselves in a place where you know your neighbors, invest in your neighbors, spend time on your front porch,  look out after each other.  Because it is written in first person it reads just like an autobiography and you feel as if Lily Rose is telling you her story.  It was an absolutely captivating story and a must read!

My Thoughts On The Book: I have always had a fascination with Amish life and read a lot of Amish fiction.  I asked to review this book because it was stories of an Amish mother and let me tell you, this book was spot on.  It was a actual visual of what Amish life is like. Marianne Jantzi shares stories of her personal life as an Amish mother in an Amish community.  Each detail of her book gives a vividly painted mental picture of simple pleasures found among the plain world.  I loved it.  The book reminded me of stories my grandmother would tell about her childhood.  A true joy to read!

My Thoughts On The Book:  I enjoy reading Shelley Shepard Gray and so I was not disappointed with this new book in her The Charmed Amish Life series.  I started reading it as soon as the book arrived at the house and did not put it down until I was finished.  Once you begin reading the story it draws you in and holds you fast. The characters were not your traditional everything is perfect in our world Amish family.  Darla's brother Aaron had some issues with anger management and as a reader you sat anxiously ready for the big explosion.  This book was filled with a lot of anger, judgement, forgiveness, handling of grief that all centered around a fire that killed five men at the mill.    Each character in the story interlocks with all the other characters of the story in their personal journey through the grief that accompanies tragic deaths. The characters emotions were raw and real and the characters came alive on the page, which is the mark of a great writer.   If you enjoy reading Amish fiction, this is definitely a “must read”.

My Thoughts On The Book:  I am a huge fan of Colleen Coble.  I have read every book so far in this series and loved them.  This one was one of my favorites.  My heart bled for Emmie and life smacked her right in the face.  I felt as if I knew her personally.  Coble is great at character development and she does not disappoint in this continuing story.  The only problem I have encountered in this Journey of the Heart series is that the books are too short.  I would love to see most pages.  It reads more like a novella and can be easily read from start to finish in a short period of time.

My Thoughts On The Book: I picked this book from the publisher when I got the email because I love reading Deborah Raney and I love books about Inns set somewhere I would love to travel.   I could not wait to read the book and I wanted uninterrupted time, so I let a few hours pass...waiting for that perfect moment to sit down.  The characters felt as if they were people I actually knew and their problems were some everybody can relate to.  This story was not a could not put it down kind of story, but I enjoyed my time spent with this family.  Raney always does a great job humanizing her characters and drawing her readers in.  This is a good read for the summer.

My Thoughts About The Book:  This was the third book in the Sugarcreek series and it was wonderful.  True to it's title this book brought me great joy.  There were three stories actually going on at the same time and each scenario reeled the reader in and would not let go.  The characters were so real you felt as if they were your neighbors.  Although this was the third book in the series you do not have to read the others to enjoy this one. I would recommend reading all the books in the series.   I loved the letter from the author, the discussion questions and the sample from her next book.  If you like Amish fiction this is one you won't want to miss.

My Thoughts About This Book:  I have been a huge fan of Suzanne Woods Fisher since I read my first book by her and this one does not disappoint.  It has all of the things for a perfect heart capturing story.  There is a love gone wrong, a love returned, roses, Christmas, and Amish.  I felt as if I was right there with the characters and could not put the book down once I sat down and settled in to read.  I especially loved the addition of the character George. The whole book was Excellent!   Having read other Rose Hill Farm books I recognized the characters and that was an added benefit, yet one could read this as a stand alone and understand the past references in the plot.

My Thoughts On The Book:  I am a high school English teacher and a natural born lover of words I could not wait to get my hands on this book.  One thing I have noticed in my twenty-five years in the classroom is that my students and some of the adults in my life use words to hurt each other.  Growing up as a sufferer of low self-esteem I knew the power words could have on me.  I loved reading how Betel Arnold confronted her own issues and it was very empowering to find that one does not have to be bound to this life style.  This book is a mixture of stories, helpful scriptures, song lyrics and is just the book for someone who struggles thinking they are not good enough for God to love them.  Thank you Betel for speaking out about a topic that often goes without being addressed.  Loved this book and plan to add it to my library for future reference!

My Thoughts About The Book: I have read all the Quilts of Love books and loved them all equally as much.  They have been wonderful reads by several different authors.  I really loved Molly and Ben in this story.  Two complete opposites and such a challenge to take on.   How can a craft writer and a sports writer compete for the same job?  The ending comes out of left field and is not what I expected at all.   This was one of those books you can start and finish in an uninterrupted day.  Tara Randel really had a great command of her characters and story line.  I hope to have the opportunity to review something else by her.  She is an amazing author.  I would give this book 4 stars and recommend that you buy it straight away.

My Thoughts About The Book: WOW!  I cannot seem to find enough words of praise for this one.  Suzanne Woods Fisher has done it again and concluded this series with a wonderful story that makes it hard to put the book down. I have read all the books in this series and must admit that this really is not a stand alone.  The story in the novel has been building since the first two books in the series. All of the secrets come out of the closet in this final installment.  I love reading Suzanne Woods Fisher's book and would love to find the Eagle Inn and spend some time there discovering myself.  This entire series was no let down and "The Revealing" was a successful conclusion to a fabulous series. Even the title of this book was a great choice.  The whole book was wonderful!  If you are a fan of Amish fiction then you need to read this series.  I promise you won't want to put it down.

My Thoughts About The Book:  I am a huge Colleen Coble fan.  Seagrass Pier is an awesome addition to the Hope Beach Series.  Even though there are some familiar faces from the previous books in the series it is definitely a stand alone.   Coble is a wonderful developer of the character and her characters in this book leap off the page.  The book is very fast paced and you are drawn into the story from the start.  There is plenty of action and mystery. The bit of graphic in violence and  mature themes surprised me a bit, so I feel I should give a small warning. Still even with the violence and mature themes this was one fantastic read that had me glued to the chair from the very beginning.  I could not put it down!  If this book were a movie I would be at the premier.  When I finished the last page I realized my heart was pounding and I had lost a whole day held captive in this story.  It is a must read!

My Thoughts About The Book:  We have had a lot of rainy days here in the South and I began this book on one of those days.  I started early in the morning while everyone else in the house was asleep.  Kate Lloyd is a master at creating well developed characters.  I could not put this book down.  It was a wonderful story about forgivness.  I have read the other books in this trilogy and it was nice knowing the characters as I began but this is a stand alone and can be read without having read the other two parts.

My Thoughts On The Book:  This book sucks you in from the first page.  It is amazing and extremely intense! I have seen many books labeled spine-tingling, pulse-pounding, hair-raising, and nerve-wracking, but Raptor 6 is all that and more. I cannot remember so many emotions were rolled into one reading.  I laughed so much, cried so often, got mad with the antagonists, and could not put the book down until I read the very last page.  I felt as if I was right there in the middle of all the action.  I cannot wait for the second book in this series.  If you like action-adventure-military stories then this book is for you.  If you are a Tom Clancy or W.E.B. Griffin fan then this is your kind of book.  I have to say though, don't pick it up if you don't have time to read.  This is not one of your read a chapter before bed kind of books.  Once you start reading you won't want to stop.

My Thoughts On The Book:  I have read several of the Quilts of Love series and have loved them all so far.  This one was not one of my favorites.  The setting was interesting - I love days of old settings and this one was Oregon in the days of the pioneers. The story line had potential to be interesting as well- a new bride whose husband mysteriously leaves with the promise he will return but no details about where he has gone. The author is from Oregon, and the story feels like the a historical telling of her ancestors experience as newcomers to the wild wild West. The story line was very hard to figure out and it made me wonder if I had missed something somewhere. This was not a sequel, it was a stand alone book.  So I was just left wondering and I plodded through the book.  I did not feel a connection with any of the characters like I have in the other Quilts of Love books. Their actions and conversations were very stilted and abrupt. I just couldn't get into this story.

My Thoughts On The Book:  This was the kind of  book I love!!! I read it in a little over 4 hours and was so disappointed when I realized that the story was  over! Robin Hatcher is a master wordsmith and this was an awesome storyline.  As always her characters were well developed and lifelike.  I felt as if I was part of the action.  Hatcher does an impeccable job of teaching the difference between justice and revenge in this novel.  If you love westerns, historical romances, and just great reading then this is the book for you.
