Last night was such a wonderful night. Frank and I were home....he was watching football....I was modge podging baskets...when the doorbell rang. I was covered in glue so he answered it. He called for me to come and in walked Marcy McCarley...one of our church members and one of my favorite porch people in Rock Mills. She made me stand against the stove and close my eyes and promise I would not peek....I did as I was told....big problem...I had to go to the bathroom so bad I thought I would explode. I rocked, hummed, rocked some more...anything to get my mind off the bathroom....then they called me into my living room....and there it was. Marcy, and her sister, Sherry Towler had brought me....well us a gift....a Santa Rug for my den. I LOVED IT! Both of them work for Milliken. Now you have to admit...the picture on this rug is awesome and vivid. I was so excited and hugged them both multiple times....thanking them every time for the rug. After they left...I got down on the floor on it....and rolled around....yep...I am a big kid at heart. Today, at our church's Christmas dinner they told me they thought I was like a kid getting a new toy at Christmas....well...I have to admit....I love surprises....and I adore this rug. I was going to wait to show it to you til I had everything ready for the Open House next weekend....but I couldn't wait. Is it not the cutest thing you have ever seen? Frank and I have no children at home....but this makes my den so warm and inviting. I know they don't read my blog....heck...they don't even know I have one...but I do thank them with all my heart....for making me feel like I belong to Rock Mills...and helping me decorate my home for the Open House. I love my life!

I love your rug. I thought it was a picture until you talked about it. What a great surprise and gift you received.
That was really a sweet gesture! Surprises like that are the best!
I'm a long lost cousin of Marcie and Sherry. I was just worried about the storm searching thinking about coming out that way to visit. They are the best people in the world. My name is Johnny Sanders if you read this and want to tell them. My email is jsanders420@gmil.com
