About The Book: This book teaches the reader exactly how to define disappointment from God's point of view. It is a blueprint for readers who are experiencing disappointment to
be able to look at their lives the way God wants them to and as a result of this teaching, learn to enbrace disappointment as a tool in which God is refines the reader. The book allows the readers to develop withn themselves something far greater than often understood. Depression and
disappointment are one of the enemy's greatest tools for plundering the hearts
and mind of Gods people. Instead of allowing ourselves to wallow in the bottomless well of disappointment
and self pity, we must immediately fall at the feet of Jesus and ask him to help us
focus on him and what he wants to teach or reveal to us. This is a
wonderful tool in overcoming the often subtle attack of the enemy to steal our
joy.
Thanks Kay Arthur for allowing God to work in you to perform the blessing of
teaching us how to stay connected to the source of living water.

My Thoughts: After having lost my father in 2009, my aunt in 2010, my mom in 2011 and my brother-in-law in 2011 I really did not know where to
turn. God seemed to have abandoned me and seemed so far away. I had no where to turn for grief support. While checking out reading material in my church's library I found this book on "suggested read". I read the title, AsSilver Refined: Learning To Embrace Life's Disappointments, and thought "really?" Once I started reading the book I could not put it down. What makes this book brilliant is that God uses it to help us in our
deepest pain and this I know because of all of the people that have borrowed my e-copy and have read it - have gone out to buy their own copy and some have even
bought it as a gift for someone who needs encouragement and hope! This book was a lifesaver for me. Thank you Kay Arthur.
