About The Book: Always putting business before pleasure, Cassie McPherson works hard for her family's construction business. That might explain why she doesn't have a date for the company Christmas party. But it doesn't quite explain why she's crazy enough to hire an escort for the event or - crazier still - why she's dying to unwrap him like a present . . . With whiskey-colored eyes and a killer smile, James is one gorgeous hunk who really knows how to fill out a tuxedo. He charms everyone, including Cassie. And when the night ends, the party doesn't stop. As Cassie falls, literally, into his bed, James falls head over heels in love. Now he has to figure out a way to tell her the truth: he's not an escort. He's her family's fiercest business rival. But all he wants for Christmas is her . . .
About The Author:
"So here’s the thing. she loves to write about fictional people, but she feel very uncomfortable writing about herself. So let’s dispense with the biography and she’ll tell you a story. And everyone knows that all the best stories start with . . .

My Thoughts On The Book: This book is sassy, sexy, fun and a must read. Cassie is such a go-getter and her counterpart in the story, James is equally as head strong as she is. It is one of the those books that once you pick it up you don't want to put it down, even if it means doing without sleep. I loved both of the main characters, Cassie and James. This story is the whole fairy tale package with a few bumps along the road to true love thrown in for flavor. Katie Lane is a expert story weaver.

I am a woman who wears many hats and loves them all. I am a singer - I sing with the group Still Magnolias. I was part of the original First United Methodist Church Arbor Praise Team until we moved. After 24+ years of teaching English 11 and Spanish I - II at Benjamin Russell High School I decided to take a job closer to home. I now teach Spanish I & 2 at Randolph Co. High School and Wadley. I thought I was getting close to retirement and looking forward to it, but decided to move my cheese and try something different. I am a preacher's wife and a preacher myself. My husband Frank is the pastor at Rock Mills United Methodist Church and I am the pastor at Midway (Wedowee). It has made our conversations interesting, to say the least.
