Project 365 - Week 45

Good Sunday morning from Project 365.  It is week 45 and that means that there are only 7 more weeks left in 2011.  Where has the year gone?  If you want to see some more really awesome pictures....a tax time pig, birds, flowers, children...then head over to Sarah's place and check them out.

Sunday, October 30th

Sunday, Frank and I took a ride down one of the many dirt roads in Rock Mills. I thought the view of Wehadkee Creek was lovely.

Monday, October 31st - Halloween
We had church members over to our house for a trunk or treat event.  Soups were shared by all who were there and we handed out candy from the house because it was just too cold.  Lots of cute little witches and ghouls knocked on our door.  I took a picture of one of my fall groupings.  I modged podged this pumpkin.  The glass piece was a gift from my friend, Marian.

Tuesday, November 1st
This is my week of gifts and things I am thankful for.  This statue was made by my dear friend, Bill.  He did an amazing job and it is one of my most cherished possessions.

Wednesday, November 2nd
My first attempt at making a wreath.  I got an inside wreath holder because after making this one I did not want to make a second one for my other door.  Sooooo, it will be an inside decoration!

Thursday, November 3rd

Another prized possession.  I love cameos.  Normally I wear them but Kat found this one for me and I have it hidden away in my curio cabinet.  I sat in the living room Thursday night and looked at the muted light from the cabinet and enjoyed seeing all the tiny treasures I have sitting there.  The picture is on a stone made by my good friends, the Olivers.  It is my mom's family and I was feeling a bit nostalgic on Thursday night after we got home from bowling.  Rita gave me the jewel box and inside there are some secret treasures.  I love this little table.  I love making little conversation pieces.

Friday, November 4th

I collect wall crosses.  The top one was a gift to me when I left the Praise band in 2010.  The middle one was made from timbers from the First Church and the last one is from the Holy Lands.

Saturday, November 5th
Meet Madame Marie LaBeaux from New Orleans.  I had to play a fortune teller/palm reader at the Rock Mills Fall Festival on Saturday night.  This is how I looked after sitting in the dark for 3 hours and being up since 4 a.m.  I am wearing pink sparkle eyelashes, a hoop through my bottom lip, a black glitter tatoo on my right eye, a black heart shaped birthmark on my right side,  pink and black hair....I was a sight to behold.  I hope you had a good week and I am hoping for warmer days so I can get out and take some outside pictures.  I have  photo shoot next Sunday afternoon with my niece and her precious husband.  I can't wait.  See you next Sunday!
