Project 365 - Week 42

Ten weeks left of Project 365.  I can't believe it has gone so fast.  Everyone heads over to Sara's and links up when they are finished posting, so if you want to see more cool pictures head on over there and check them out.  Here is how my week looked.
Sunday, October 9th
I almost forgot a picture tonight.  Frank and I set up a small fall scene this year....no mums, no hay....just my cute scarecrows and my pumpkin.

Monday, October 10th
New additions, mom and dad scarecrows.

The children scarecrows and my pumpkin.

Tuesday, October 11th
Last night of photography class
We were supposed to shoot the fountain in front of the Opelika City Hall but it was raining....so we gave it a bit and went across the street to Sanford Hall to begin our night of strange shots.

Know what this is?  If you guessed cars on a road you would be right. My settings were f/16 and 13" on a tripod.  You can't even see the cars that were coming and going.  Pretty cool huh?

This is made with an LED light flashlight... JR, the teacher, was writing War Eagle but I missed the first part because I saw a squirrel....just kidding....my ADD kicked in and I saw something else I was interested in.  The bottom picture is the other one...it is just shapes...you can't even see the people behind them doing all this activity.  I just held my remote down until she finished and walked away and this is what I got.  I think it looks like a tree rolling at night.

Wednesday, October 12th

My hydrangea has one more bloom so I had to catch it before it died like the rest.  I love hydrangea's.

Thursday, October 13th
It is cotton picking time in the South.

Friday, October 14th
Pep rally Friday. This is our last home game for the season and tonight will be Senior Parent night.  Alex, our mascot, is encouraging the crowd to win the spirit stick.

Saturday, October 15th
We took our children and some of the youth to the Pumpkin Patch in LaFayette, AL today.
Two of my youth girls, Libby Lou and Carissa smiling pretty for me.

A straw dog in the middle of the patch.

Greg posing with his girlfriend, Miss Piggy and Frank helping the kids mark their pumpkins.

Beth and Renee posing with the picture board.
Frank, Renee and Beth posing at the picture taking spot.

All the kids we took with us today.

After we got home from the pumpkin patch we went to Amanda's to see all the work that has been done on her kitchen remodeling job.  Amanda and Della are opening the boxes to check out the new cabinets. I am playing with my new camera hood and the pictures are circled.  I love it!  We all went to Del Rio's for supper and then Frank and I came home and settled in to watch the Auburn and Alabama games....ok...I took a nap.  Have a great week and happy shooting.  I am leaving on Tuesday for the mountains so I am hoping to offer up some great fall shots direct to you from Cades Cove next week.  Until next week...Vaya Con Dios.

Great Fall decorations and events! What fun!
We were given two gorgeous hydrangea bushes after a wedding, but now we need to figure out where to plant them.
Have another great week!
